Golden Hill PAX Leaders

TOOT  TOOT #2
Last weeks class TOOTLE was awarded to Ms. Onoforo's Fourth grade class!  This group of students has been playing the PAX behavior game, focusing on using self control while painting and clean up in the art room.  It has been a challenge, but their hard work and perseverance paid off as they were on the mark this week and PAX'd it up in my classroom!

TOOT  TOOT #1
I  am excited to award my first all class TOOTLE!  I am so proud to be a part of the Golden Hill Team and implementing the PAX behavior program in my art classroom.  Our Golden Hill school is working hard to all become PAX leaders.  A TOOTLE is a shout out to an individual or class that has demonstrated self control and set good examples of how to be positive role models for others.

Congratulations to Ms. Fahy's third grade classroom for earning a whole class TOOTLE!

This third grade group has been off the charts the last couple of weeks in the art room.  Their creativity has been exploding as they have expanded upon their learning of the artist Yayoi Kusama.   Ms. Fahy's class has explored how to combine realism with the abstract.  Once completing their unit study they enjoyed applying their learning to observational drawings and watercolor mono prints of leaves.
Keep up the creativity and exploration of the world around you!
